The local Modesto, California area has a few small groups organized by members with like interests that gather regularly for events, festivals, discussion and business meetings.  The supported groups are as follows:

AUP MODESTO GROUPS:

Well it's no surprise that this is the group that started it all. The AUP Modesto group put together and maintains The Association of United Pagans. The group holds regular meetings and spends alot of time in fellowship at the AUP_Fellowship group over at Yahoo. Membership is open to everyone interested in Pagan Unity. The AUP also has a Yahoo Group which covers local events in the area. We have split these off so as not to confuse our ever growing national membership with local event announcements. Although the name of the group implies our large annual Pagan festival it also covers ALL local Pagan event planning and announcements. So if you are in the Northern California area we highly advise your membership on this group so you can keep up with the great events.

AUP Executive Board Meetings - First Thursday of every month, 7:00-9:00 PM, at Hatfield House & Corporate Headquarters - 208 Rowland Avenue, Modesto, California.  We discus all things AUP at the monthly meetings. Including but not limited to: Official Business info, fundraising, future events, etc. There will more than likely be some voting on occasion. Pagan Coffee Social - Every 2nd & 4th (5th if there is one) Thursday 7:00-9:00 PM at the Queen Bean, 1126 14th St., Modesto, CA 95354 - Come down and discuss Magick, Paganism and any other topic that fits your fancy. Park your broom and grab a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa because the Goddess is alive and Magick's afoot! All ages are welcome, small children MUST be accompanied by an adult. [click for map]

Craft night will involve group crafts geared towards the Sabbat/Esbat of the season. Please contact us if you wish to contribute to the supplies required for the crafts. Put-Put and Bowling participation is at ones own expense but these are rather inexpensive functions, or just come to fellowship. Movie nights are potluck so please bring snacks and drinks to share. Movies will be family friendly and often Pagan oriented. Titles to be determined month prior.
